You are required to purchase a Vehicle Access Permit to drive a vehicle on the island. Ensure you obtain your Vehicle Access Permit before entering Fraser Island
Vehicle permits are no longer required to be displayed in Fraser Island recreation areas due to the presence of automatic number plate recognition system cameras.
